And here is another series of pictures my mom took of the Trees around our house during the Fall.

Talk with you soon.

Fact

2 Turkey Days is better than 1, especially if the two turkey days are stretched out to two days (as apposed to 2 on 1 day)

Vick Update Looking Good

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga.—Michael Vick will be in uniform for the first time this season Sunday, standing by as the Atlanta Falcons’ backup quarterback at Houston.

The Pro Bowl QB, sidelined since breaking his right leg in preseason, practiced for the second straight day on Thursday.

During a two-hour workout, Vick rolled out on pass plays after working exclusively in the pocket Wednesday. He also stopped, started and took cuts.

“It felt pretty good,” Vick said. “I’ll just keep taking it day by day and see how it feels tomorrow. I am making progress.”

Doug Johnson will start Sunday when the Falcons (2-9) visit Houston (4-7), but Vick will be available.

“He will definitely be the No. 2 quarterback unless there are any setbacks tomorrow,” coach Dan Reeves said. “He was able to move around and scramble. I was surprised by how well he looked, especially compared to where he was last week.”

And just a note on my reports from Flowery Branch. Yes. I do have reporters stationed in Flowery Branch. So.

Okay Kids..

I made it, just so you know. I know your worried and pressing F5 every four seconds to see if there are any updates or what not.

Have a good turkey day.
Thanks.

Dunn is done for the year.

CRAP

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP)—Warrick Dunn’s season ended Tuesday when the Atlanta Falcons placed their leading rusher on injured reserve with a torn ligament in his left foot.

Dunn had to be carried off the field early in the fourth quarter of the Falcons’ 38-31 loss to Tennessee on Sunday. Coach Dan Reeves said Monday that Dunn initially got hurt during his 162-yard rushing effort in a 23-20 overtime loss at New Orleans the previous week.

Blackwood Convention

20 years ago (next tuesday) Phish performed their first ever gig.

The First Gig
Friday, December 2, 1983
Harris-Millis Cafeteria
University of Vermont
Burlington, VT

Sound Check: Jam (with audience present)

Set I: Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, Proud Mary, In the Midnight Hour, Squeeze Box, Roadhouse Blues, Happy Birthday

Set II: Scarlet Begonias > Fire

Show Notes: Trey, Mike, Fish, and Jeff Holdsworth recall being billed as “Blackwood Convention” for this show (though no one is certain what band name was used), which is believed to be their first public gig together. The band was short on equipment, so a hockey stick was used as a microphone stand. Between sets, the DJ spun some Michael Jackson and Trey drummed along to the album. The house music (which included more Michael Jackson) was presumably turned up after Fire to drown out the band. The setlist may be incomplete, though, as the master tape contains nothing after Trey’s sarcastic comments about Michael Jackson following Fire. All songs are, of course, live debuts. While this show is often billed as an ROTC Halloween Dance that took place on October 30, 1983, this is incorrect. The master copy of the recording of this show, as unearthed by Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro, contains a handwritten note that pegs the date as December 2, 1983. In recent discussions with Kevin, band members confirmed that they recall rehearsing for this show over the Thanksgiving Break, and that the show was a Christmas semi-formal. Also, though many ROTC students lived in the dormitory (Mike’s dorm at the time), it was not an ROTC-sponsored event; it was a dorm dance in a predominantly ROTC dorm.

And next Tuesday in the Fleet Center in Boston… ... Oh man, I don’t know.. I can’t wait… Their 20th Anniversay Show

Something Important

I feel like I have something important I wanted to say this morning to you but now for the life of me I can’t necessarilly remember what it was that I wanted to say. It’s right on the tip of my brain and in my mind, yet still so far away. I know it had something to do with numbers or dates or some form of currency or something. Hmm. The last thing I remember this morning in reference to what I wanted to say was the number 5. Or was it 7. I’m not really sure. I’m going to have to think about it for a while. I’m going to have to mull it over in my head so that I can possibly remember what it was. What was it? Damn it. Okay, can I make a confession. There wasn’t anything. It’s just that I wanted a new post and didn’t have anything that I necessarilly wanted to say or not say this morning. So, basically I just posting this bullshit to fill the void inside my head.
Oh I do remember something I wanted to say and thought of last night. I’m so glad that my site does not have to adhere to some sort of content specific postings. Like, for example, I don’t have to constantly post about the movies I’ve seen and thats it. This blog does not follow a set pattern of rules as far as what it reports upon. It’s free form. I can post shit about anything and basically not care what you think about it. Now thats cool.
Okay where was I. Oh yeah. Just ending. I’m out of here.

I Got My Finger on the Trigger

Just talked with Bob from USDA, who happened to get a link to my sites via email I sent to him externally. Another client who has “eden” as one of the words to flag when receiving emails.

I’m looking forward to visiting in December. It’s going to be a good time.

I haven’t been to DC since I was 6.

Penis Patch

Okay, What the frigger… I got a lot of emails about this last week.
NO, I don’t need a Penis Patch.
And here it is, 7:32 AM on Monday morning and I’ve already received the first penis patch email for the week.
Notorious.

This is related to the weekly dump I do on my deleted items box that collects my piles of spam. This morning, that number was 1078. One thousand, seventy-eight junk emails I deleted. That’s insane. I get so many emails, that when I see that I’ve got a new one I don’t get excited. I know it’s going to be junk mail. Remember the days where you were excited to get email? I barely do.

Excellence

This is sort of old news, but…

Our Help Desk has won the Lotus Advisor Excellence Award!

Help Desk for FAA NexGen Initiative | Eden
Eden Help Desk gave the Federal Aviation Administration a robust,
Lotus-based collaborative tool that can handle a high volume of Help
Desk calls and the administration’s internal IT requirements.

Some of you long time twobs fans may remember me writing about this project as it was going on, sometime during the summer. July, I believe.

Lotus Advisor Excellence Awards celebrate superior achievements with Lotus Software, including Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino, Lotus Instant Messaging (Sametime), Lotus Enterprise Integration, Lotus Domino.Doc, and more.

Good Morning Monday!

Is being in the office at quarter to six any sort of record?..
I didn’t think so.

I gotta pump out this Service Level Agreement modification to our default Service Contract functionality in the Help Desk module.

Basically, SLA’s let you set resolution timeframes, default assignees, and default priorities. In our Help Desk SLA’s can match the specific Caller, the Caller’s Company, or the Asset related to the Ticket. If the system finds more than one match at save, the user will be prompted to select which one they’ll use.

Maybe this isn’t exciting to you, but I gotta bust a move to get it done and solid before Turkey break. With Phish tour, I’ll have 7 days off after Wednesday. So pumped! Alright, back to it!

21-0

21-0, the Falcons were winning after the first quarter. But it still wasn’t enough to beat the Titans from Tennessee. The Falcons blew their fifth second half lead of the season to drop the game 38-31. Pathetic.

I Made a Snowflake

it’s kinda crappy, but you should try and make one too.

Go to http://snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/

To cut the paper, move your scissors so the red dot in the middle of the scissors turns green and left click. Then, position your scissors to how you want to cut into the paper and left click again. Finally, left click on the edge of the paper where you want the final piece of the hole to be cut out at.

More Traveling.

Not excited, but yesterday when I got back I found out I’m being assigned to an onsite December 9-11 in Washington, DC. Government stuff.
