Only Six Days In October With Posts
That’s pretty interesting. Hmm…
That’s pretty interesting. Hmm…
Daunte Culpepper is out. I spent very high on Daunte this year in a couple fantasy leagues. I know I drafted him at least #1 overall in a few drafts. I wouldn’t wish an injury upon anyone but he was having a horrible season. I’m sure he was on the Viking Party Boat.
Heath Miller, Steelers just scored a touchdown in the Monday Night Game against the Ravens. I’ve got him tonight and Willie Parker. I need about 20 points.
Other than that I have no update. Just needed to vent my frustrations with Daunte.
I was thinking it about it too..
I am never drafting a Quarterback in the first round. Ever again.
I will take two running backs in the first two rounds every single year.
Every single time.
Even if I only need 1.
Straight up.
So remember that.
Even number 1.
I have Payton Manning on a few teams. He hasn’t done much either. But he still could. I’m not too worried with him. Wish sometimes I had the Edge over Payton, but oh well.
That and this is a tough week without the Falcons and Colts playing. I have a lot of Falcons and Colts. I dumped Indy’s Kicker for Jay Feely of the Giants which turned out to be the kicker pick of the week.
Good luck all. Be good.
Just so you know.
It was GREAT to visit with everyone in New Jersey, Holley, Rochester, Auburn, Letchworth Park, and in between!
SAGE ALSO HAD A BEST
BEST TIME EVER she kept on saying over and over in the car!
Now she has a new toy to play with and is super excited.
I’ll tell her you said Hi.
By the way, we made it into New Jersey last night around 3AM in case anyone was wondering.
Heard last night that the Nor’easter is supposed to be today’s big story. Rain, Sleet, Snow even in the Mid-Atlantic today. Great! We’ll be driving from Michigan to New Jersey through Ohio and Pennslyvania today.. Should be at least interesting with the weather I guess.
Here is the Travel Advisory from weather.com

Warrick Dunn and the Atlanta Falcons beat the Jets 27-14 last night. Falcons are now 5-2 and this upcoming weekend they have off.

We’re heading out tomorrow morning en route to New Jersey. We’ll be there for a few days and then in upstate New York.. Should be back sometime on Halloween. I’ll try to hit this from the road at some point.

What time is it?
This thing is supposed to tell me.
Today was the first time in the History of the NFL that there were 2 game winning field goals of 50 or more yards with 0:00 on the clock.
Paul Edinger 56 yards MINN 23 GB 20
Josh Brown 50 yards SEA 13 DAL 10
900 bucks lighter. Car and one of my student loans are UP TO DATE!
Any predictions?
I think it will be pretty close. I want White Sox, but I would not be suprised to see the Astros win it. In the end I don’t really care. I hate the Astros but if they win then I will just have to deal with it. White Sox have more history and I’m a bigger fan of that. White Sox have a curse too ya know. That funny little thing called the Black Sox scandal. Do you remember that one? The 1919 World Series
The 1919 World Series was played between the Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds. Due to increased enthusiasm in baseball after World War I, Major League Baseball decided on a best-of-nine format for the 1919 World Series. Eight members of the Chicago franchise conspired with gamblers to throw (intentionally lose) games. The conspiracy is often known as the Black Sox scandal.
This betting conspiracy between a group of players and gamblers led to the banning of eight players from the 1919 Chicago White Sox team, the introduction of a new commissioner and strict rules prohibiting gambling.
She absolutely feels that she needs to sit/stand outside and bark at random things. She’s very protective. Whenever a strange dog or strange kid runs onto her yard (which coincindentally also includes the softball field across the street) she’ll bark at it. We go outside and tell her to stop. I’m sure she’ll learn to control herself a little better once she gets out of this ‘super annoying-i’m a puppy-see me be annoying’ stage.

Since the amount of effort I put into this site is Zero maybe I should make an effort to post more things and comments..
Yeah.. Right.
More like Sage the super annoying dog.
Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone is leaving Atlanta to join Orioles’ staff.
Mazzone, 57, and Baltimore Orioles’ Manager Sam Perlozzo grew up together in Cumberland, Md. They competed on different teams in American Legion ball, then became best friends. Perlozzo was the best man at Mazzone’s wedding.
This is the end of a longtime tenure in Atlanta. Mazzone had been with the Braves organization since 1979. He was the Braves’ pitching coach since 1990.
Mazzone is credited with helping develop Greg Maddux, John Smoltz and Tom Glavine. From 1992 through this season, the Braves ranked first or second in the NL in ERA in every year but two.So in many ways, this is the end of an ERA in Atlanta. I’m happy for Leo. Atlanta wasn’t going to pay him whatever he is getting from Baltimore. The Braves just don’t have the budget for a guy like this. I’m glad they are deciding to spend their money on players anyway. Leo is great, but hopefully the Braves have pitching coach prospects like they have player prospects. I for one, am not going to doubt it.
There’s been a huge lack of posting recently. Mostly cause my life is boring and I have nothing to share.
I just love baseball man.
I don’t care.
All 4 of these teams produce good drama
yeah yeah.. not red sox/yankee type drama.. or happiness for all of us braves fans of they actually even just got there…
but let’s see…
White Sox/Angels
vs
Cardinals/Astros
There are good story lines with all of them, but I guess the best story line would be with the White Sox and Astros. the Media loves a good Roger Clemons outing. and the White Sox haven’t won in forever. but for me, and because I just hate the Astros, I’d rather see the Cardinals. I’d be okay with the Angels, but they have won recently so I’d rather have the White Sox. The Cardinals were maybe the second tee-ball team I was on when I was a kid, so they were sorta like my second favorite team..(I was on the Mariners, Cardinals, Twins, Marlins, and Yankees during my brief career as a kid. I throw right handed and bat left handed, but I can switch hit.. power from the left, average from the right).. anyway.. so I’m sorta hoping for a White Sox/Cardinals World Series… Astros Angels would be my least favorite scenario… It all boils down to who is actually in the World Series to determine how much I’ll pay attention. Last year.. (just thinking now I was like.. who was in it?).. I payed attention, but not really… It’s been awhile since I was glued to every pitch. The World Series’s during college I barely remember (except the Subway series, cause that NLCS was pretty cool.) but I remember watching a bunch of the Marlins Yankees series (i rooted Marlins at the time, always a Yankee hater until after that world series and kinda during.. (well known fact)) end
