IF WE DON’T CAPTURE IT WE DON’T CARE
Ain’t that the truth.
Ain’t that the truth.
Absolutely no one was dressed up today. How sad. Only one girl wore a wizard/witch hat. but no one else… no penny. no patrick dressed up like a yankee fan. no justus dressed up like a scanner. no christine dressed up like a clown. or anything like that.. okay mick had a dreads-hat on and a tiedye so that’s a start… but what’s up with this? oh yeah i forgot, steph wore a pink hat, had a backpack on and also sneakers… can anyone guess her costume? yeah…. i’m still working on figuring what she was dressed up as, but anyway…
oh well. guess my costume desires will be fullfilled when we head up north to visit jasmine from aladdin.
p.s. all our pumpkins at home rotted and we never got any pictures with them illuminated in the dark and that makes me mad, but oh well.
Imitation is the highest form of flattering. See here how JKH from the Midwest was clever to use me as his Internet Costume. I am honored.

Dear Person who said “I can’t Imagine your life is any more exciting than mine”:
While you were busy bouncing your nephew’s on your knee and playing Final Fantasy 72 this past weekend, did you find time to enjoy any of the following events:
-Walking in an extreme downpour
-Feed chickens, geese, and ducks
-Fill buckets of clay to hand up to another person
-Attending the Hadestown theatre production
-Seeing the Circus in the form of a Costume party
-Drive 400 miles/go out of state, including stopping to take random pictures along the way
-Pee in the woods, or pee anywhere outside (and yes I do consider that exciting)
-Get trailed by a Vermont state cop for several miles only to have him not pull you over
-Helping to traverse a 4 foot wide clay mixer down a steep driveway and figuring out how to get the said mixer through a tight spot between a car and a rock wall
-Playing catch with a bowling ball and then bowling down a steep driveway to see if you can get the ball to go into the winooski river (which it never did)
-Have your likeness be used as a Halloween Costume, randomly somewhere in the Midwest
-etc
Dave’s home project. I helped hand up buckets of clay mix while he applied another layer to the top. Fun times.
The Magnet worked, I found him
before getting downpoured on
In about 15 minutes I’m off to Vermont, solo style, to track down the only friend I have with superpowers. Wish me luck. Stay tuned to the blog/flickr for incoming pictures from the road. Good day!
So we just got stopped by a fellow who asked us if we would like to donate or make a contribution to the United Negro Breakfast Fund. We both said no, but upon further thought… that was pretty good. Maybe he should get a job using that wit.
Maybe I should have asked him for a donation to the United Caucasion Coffee Fund
Oh by the way, I finally uploaded our official photos from the wedding…. At some point, I will get the guest’s photos up that we have/like.. but for now.. and for those of you who haven’t seen….
