10. Drake – Thank Me Later 11/19
I so also dig this album. I’ve listened to it many times since adding it in June. I keep having the same dream and I think I just realized what it means. All I see is fireworks. I remember when you thought I was joking, now I’m off singing Karaoke. You promised me you’d never change. Over, Show Me A Good Time, and Up All Night are my top played tracks off this album. I know way too many people right now that I didn’t know last year. Who the fuck are ya’ll. I swear it feels like the last few nights we’ve been everywhere and back but. I just can’t remember it all. What am I doing? What am I doing? Oh yeah, that’s right. I’m doing me. I’m doing me. I’m living life right now man. And this what I’m do til is over. Til it’s far from over. Just love the hook in that song! I won’t lie, it hooked me, lots of good hooks on this album. Man I love my team… I look like yes and you look like no. I’m about whatever man… so we do it how we do it.. I be up all night.. Oh you Fany huh?? Shut it down down down.. I’m looking forward to the memories of right now. When I say for life you say forever. Ok you can thank me now.

11. Girl Talk – All Day 11/19
Haven’t listened to this yet. Sabbath War Pigs intro! Okay a few minutes in now. A lot of little different things going on. Definitely recognizing some samples. Doors waiting for the sun sample now. Beck. Fun disc so far not sure how many times these tracks will be repeated. Who do you think you are? I wish I was a little bit taller I wish I was a baller. She’s phony, he’s fake, that’s the type of people I hate. I’m a creep. Of course, there’s the cliche Jackson’s ABC sample. Not that it’s bad, just a little oversampled. Driving that train! Lots of good samples on this. Certainly too many recognizable samples to list, which is what’s pretty awesome about Girl Talk. You recognize a lot of what he uses. And he uses it all real well! Pretty funny hearing a sample from the previous album I just listened to.

12. Jack Johnson – To The Sea 11/19
Ok, this started playing after Girl Talk and it’s definitely something different than before which is what I wanted but.. Three songs in and might as well just let it play. I’m too tired to drive. I haven’t listened to every song on this album yet. More than half have no plays. I guess I just like how well he does what he does even if what he does is what he does. Which is probably why I haven’t listened to all these songs yet. I’ve already heard them with different words:) Nah, I’m kidding. It’s more like, I know i’ll like them when I hear them cause I know what to expect. Not as good as a couple of his previous efforts, this is still a decent album. Pictures taking pictures taking pictures of people taking pictures of people. Yeah. Only the ocean and me. Live song to finish album is pretty nice!

13. Jane’s Addiction – Ritual De Lo Habitual 11/19
Here we go! Nowhere. Stop! Nice way to even out after the last album. Which could probably nevet not happen. Nobody is leaving. Dig the bass work on this. She walked right thru the door. Walked right thru the door. Reading now about how Dave Navarro doesn’t remember even recording this album and a 13 month tour to support the album following it’s release was the beginning of the end to Jane’s Addiction. Lollapalooza, partially created by Perry Farrell turned into a rather large traveling festival thing and gave a lot of new exposure to Jane’s Addiction. At the first Lollapalooza show Navarro and Farrell got into a fight after bumping mid song. The band walked off but came back to do an encore. The fight continued but the band played 25 more Lollapalooza shows before disbanding. This is a real good album of theirs to check out if you have not heard much or have limited exposure to Jane’s. First time in a real long time going thru the back half of this album, good good stuff.
