T-Minus about 24 hours til we push off from Albany to Portland Maine to visit Jdogg and the other Maineites. The V-digit arrives in Chinatown, Albany on the Dragon Express and then we are officially bouncing town… Will be back Monday night. Don’t wait up for me. Look for mobile pics from the road.

Alright, so we were going to do another hike today but at 6AM we decided that we need a day to actually catch up on sleep. We haven’t had a day like that in weeks, many weeks it seems.. so we will still hike sleeping beauty, it just won’t be today.

We went off trail a little bit and found our way around to the back side of this rock bluff, which was a very excellent spot to take a break and enjoy the scenary.

So, we are going to start the process of re-introducing ourselves to the Adirondack peaks with a warmup hike. Our plan is to go 2-3 times a month and wake up early Saturday mornings and leave at the same time we do during the week.
