Okay so what, so I am thinking about it already.. Whatever. Here’s the thing. I’ve got no plans. She’s going away from Sat Morning to Mon Morning…. so… what am I going to do?
I’m open to travel, but not more than 100 miles.
I’m open to have visitors, but no one wants to visit me.
I’m open to drive in to Albany, but what is there to do?

So… anyone have any suggestions? Anyone want to come visit me? Anyone care?

It’s Friday and that’s a good thing. Got a lot on the plate but it’s no big thing. Doing this doing that and doing it well. Well, to the best of my knowledge. But anyway… Not much on the docket for the weekend. Possible trip to Vermont. May have to postpone that a couple weekends since I am just not feeling like traveling this weekend. Sara is off to Boston this weekend for a girls weekend with Stella and Theresa. Coolness. Everything else is copesetic on my front.. What’s shaking on your end of town?

Another CMP situation with everything. Going grocery shopping after work. Tried to go to DMV yesterday to take care of things, but it was just a mess. We didn’t have all the paperwork we needed, but we were glad we didn’t in a way cause while we were in line they made an announcement that their computers were down so I bet anything I got that we would have sat there til 6pm and they still wouldn’t have been able to help us out. Oh well.. Next time we’ll leave work earlier and just pump it out. I gotta take care of figuring out the insurance thing and I gotta order the taillight part for my car like ASAP..

Before I type my next thought let me preface it with saying that my weekend philosophy is to just relax. Some weekends have definitive plans, some do not. I don’t want to spend every weekend-all weekend accomplishing tasks that can only be done on the weekends. With that being said, I have a million things I want to do this weekend and every weekend, but I’d rather just relax. There’s a fine line, and I’m working on finding it.. but yeah—- that’s where I’m at with that.

What a sicky week… but thankfully… here we are it’s FRIDAY time!

YAY!

My little sister Colleenie is on here way down from the Adirondacks to visit us for the weekend. We are going to have a rocking good time. Tonight Greg’s band Firefighter Font is playing up in Saratoga. We’ll most likely check that out and it will be our first time collectively seeing them play. Her friend Kate is driving in tomorrow and we have loose plans to do various activities throughout the weekend. Should be a grand ole time!

We went on a shopping spree at Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday and bought the following items and more if I don’t remember everything. Another 45 piece set of silverware (Oneida – Icarus). We got one set for our wedding but figured we should get another set now before it’s impossible to find our set and then we have more than 8 forks, spoons, etc.. That wast he big ticket item. We got a new silverware thing to actually put them in. We also got a bed dust ruffle/skirt thingy (Nautica-Highland) to match our new duvet cover, etc. We got a new mattress cover. Let’s see. We got 4 new towels (2 light green, 2 light blue) and matching hand towels and wash clothes. I got a new coffee mug. We got a couple empty spice containers for our new spice rack (red pepper wasn’t one of the spices it came with, and will be subsequently substituted in for one of the ones we don’t use often). We got a few flat cooking pans. We got a bread loaf sized pyrex glass pan. We got a stainless steel plunger thingy for the bathroom. I think that was it, but there was possibly a few more items, but anyway… I won’t even talk about the insane ordeal of trying to return a broken item and the annoyance we had in dealing with it.. but anyway..

The Weekend is a wonderful thing. I haven’t had one in almost 3 years and I am finally glad to have it back!

Man. I really hate friday afternoons. Well, I like them. But as far as work is concerned, I dislike them. I’m never in much of a mood to want to get much done on friday afternoon. I would go as far as to say, i’d work an hour or so extra every day so that I could always get Friday afternoons off. But thats never going to happen. So I’ll suck it up again and deal with it. Get some things done etc. I’m going to Plattsburgh with Rezi tonight and tomorrow we’ll hang out and hopefully I’ll kick someone’s ass at Madden, then later head down to Albany for a Mardi Gras part with some other bands (Unexplained Bacon, Scarecrow Collection, Jerkwater Ruckus, and some others).. Fun times. Time to call Spunk to see when these cats are coming through.

Wow, my good friends Kelly and Brian are getting married today in Rochester NY. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it because of my current vacationless status at work. Sara is on her way as we speak in her new wheels. I thought about calling in sick, but didn’t feel comfortable about doing that. Tonight, I’m heading to Gloversville to check out Rezi. It’s going to be wild. Not concentrating to well right now. I found a cool new forum—Terrapin Almost Pizza Time!

Rezi, Weekend

Man, It has been so nice outside the past few days it makes it so hard to concentrate on what’s going on inside. Tonight i’m going to Beardslee Castle in Little Falls to see REZI and I’m looking forward to that. It’s going to be sweet, here is a picture of the place from their site.

I somehow misplaced my cell phone charger last weekend, no clue, so I broke down yesterday and bought a car charger for it. The damn thing was dead so it hadn’t worked for a few days, but now its up and running with 2 out of 3 bars of juice. Tonight I’ll be able to juice it all the way with this drive to LF. Looking forward. Will also be watching the Syracuse basketball game. Peace

It is nice outside, but you and I both know that it’s going to last that long. I’m thinking two, maybe more, snow storms before we get to summer. I did some work last night on the rezi site last night. I still don’t think the design is quite there yet, but its closer. I like the white background right now better than the black but that could all change. I don’t know. I’m keeping it simple. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share. Spent last saturday transferring over the cafe zacquor show and then splitting the tracks and uploading to the site which is also available for download through that link above. The show was real good and I’m going to write something up on it, it just takes me forever to do things. Other than that, I need to get back to my real-paid-work now so I’ll see you on the flip…

So here we are in the evening. I think sleep is going to be my next order of business. Maybe a little reading. This weekend will be Brian’s crash experiment with CSS, I’m looking forward to that. Tomorrow night I’m going to go see Rezi at Cafe Zacquor in Gloversville. It’s going to be a great show, but Friday I will be tired at work. I will get a lot done though. I have a major project that needs to be pushed out. It’s a real beast. Gotta love it.
