2BS Blog - This is it.

This was referred to as “Express” installation. Took the guy a half hour to do everything.

Here’s the backstory:
So…. kids…. where’s the worst spot your car ever decided to stall out and not turn back on?

so i go out to start my car this morning and nothing. i jump it with this portable jumping car starting thing.. and it works.. good…. i drive all the way into albany, get off the highway and right when two lanes becomes one by some lights…. it stalls out and does not click back on… awesome… Not.. so i jam on the hazards.. and oh yeah side note – ya know the part in your car that you pull to get your hood up, yeah, my little cousin snapped that off years ago.. so i gotta use plyers to open it up and get it up, okay so i finangle it up, and set the red on the red and the black on the metal… and im able to start it up… good… put it all away and get out of there…. i was able to do all this in probably less than a minute, and for all intensive purposes i got my ass out of there quick without too much of a hassle… what an annoyance.

guess i better go get a new battery today and stop ignoring that light flickering on and off for a while now.

I’m sick of it.

I will be template shopping sometime in the next few days and trying out a few things here and there…

well sorta, I never really formatted the correct drive on my computer… its a long story, but basically its as if i never did anything…
But in other good news.. I have recovered my 180 gig drive that i thought i would never ever see again… there are years of photos, random mydocs, and other stuff on this drive I thought I lost forever… GIGGITTY GOO! (moving to external as we speak!)... dvd backups to follow.. gooo…. the old dell however, im sure that thing is toast.. it wont be revived anytime soon and wasnt really involved with any of the apparent crazyness with this machine.. I do one day want to reformat the main SCSI drive but… its a bios/raid issue I haven’t eve begun to dig into really.. plus i need to order some jumpers since i dont have any since losing them 2 years ago… so that pretty much is probably my problem.. out…
see yah next year.

Got the external harddrive plugged in… Moving pretty much all documents, music, any other files I think are important over, and eventually reformatting this SOB so that it will hopefully have less issues… Not sure how far into this I will get tonight.. I am drinking some tea right now.. so who knows…

this template sucks…. something is broken with the other template… so we’ll have to deal with this until I am able to get/upload a new one that i can deal with… next week maybe

Since I am being severly lazy with the release of 2BS 2.0 (or whatever the next redesign—redo—entire website from the original concept built 7 years ago)... ... maybe I have enough active visitors to bring back the MESSAGE BOARD.. and we can have some real fun… away from this 2BS dominated bullshit…. anyone have any thoughts… (and realize… that if you say build it… it will be brought back to life).. thoughts?? or just another idea I will be too lazy to accomplish?

I’m aware of the issue I’m having and will hopefully have an answer from my webhost soon.

Other than that I am going away for the weekend… so you’re on your own.

After being dormant forever except with the non stop spam attacks, I’ve decided to just go ahead and murder it in it’s cold dead sleep. I know there won’t be much crying from here to London regarding this recent change. There was no point in having one to begin with. If you’d like to discuss things, comment on the blog. So when you leave a comment, I require a name and email just cause i hate anonymous comments. On my browser when I go to leave a comment my previous info doesn’t automatically appear in the boxes. Does it for you? I have found out though that if I do leave a comment and just not type in my name/email it appears in the boxes while it submits and sits there after processing. Weird. Maybe I am just seeing things or need to clean out my cache or some crap. How does it work for you? (And if you have left a comment before—thanks—you should be able to just type in the box and let it ride—Let me know)

It doesn’t appear as easy to just paste an image like before. I am going to figure out a good method to do that—This page is lacking pictures :(

I just upgraded wordpress because the default install from my host was an old version..

So, no, I did not spend all morning on this design.. It is the new default. BUT… because of this upgrade (and having to have it be done) it should be easier to make changes to the design (someday).

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line and say things are copesetic.

This default design is however so much easier to read.

Okay so it seems as if the DNS for twobs.com has been resolved for me… Is everyone else able to see?

I am building my new site from the ground up. I’m pretty excited about that. I’ll be working on dumping the content that I’ve had through the years into the base. It will just take me a while.
