Stupid Battery
This was referred to as "Express" installation. Took the guy a half hour to do everything.
Here's the backstory:
So.... kids.... where's the worst spot your car ever decided to stall out and not turn back on?
so i go out to start my car this morning and nothing. i jump it with this portable jumping car starting thing.. and it works.. good.... i drive all the way into albany, get off the highway and right when two lanes becomes one by some lights.... it stalls out and does not click back on... awesome... Not.. so i jam on the hazards.. and oh yeah side note - ya know the part in your car that you pull to get your hood up, yeah, my little cousin snapped that off years ago.. so i gotta use plyers to open it up and get it up, okay so i finangle it up, and set the red on the red and the black on the metal... and im able to start it up... good... put it all away and get out of there.... i was able to do all this in probably less than a minute, and for all intensive purposes i got my ass out of there quick without too much of a hassle... what an annoyance.
guess i better go get a new battery today and stop ignoring that light flickering on and off for a while now.

I drove back from oneonta.. left about 130am... or something like that... i stopped at the rest stop in worcester ny (before richmondville) and got out went to the peepee room etc.... then sat in my car for a bit... i set my alarm for 15 minutes thinking i could rest for that amount of time, wake up and just finish the drive... wasnt that far from there, but was tired.. still over a half hour... anyway.... there were a few tractor trailers in the rest stop but whatever... so.. another car pulled in... i stayed awake to see what their deal was... then the sketchyest thing happened ever... i was sitting there.. and then all of a sudden i saw a sketchy guy walking towards my car... he's wearing one of those flannel style shirts and looked all sketchy... he's staring directly at my car and directly at me as he walks right by my car... it was freaky... he walked past my car... i thought maybe he was the truck driver from that truck over there, and he was just visiting the other trucks over there... but no... after about 20 steps past my car, he turns around and does the same thing... walks right by me and my car, stares right into my car, and right at me.. at that point, i was alert and ready to jet in case he started near my car or something, heart was racing... so he continues to walk back towards his car.. okay, maybe i was just paranoid, but it was super late at night... i thought, i better wait a minute and see what he does... im not about to just start driving and then have him follow me.. i wait. i tired. i stare out the dark rainy windows towards his car to see if he goes anywhere. i say to myself, if i see that door open again, im out of there... i wait... i keep seeing his brake light turn on.. but his car isn't moving... maybe he's having car issues.. i dont know.. i dont really care to investigate. i wait, i watch, i paranoy... brake light turns on and off a few more times.. probably about 5 minutes go by... my car is still off... finally, i see his door open on his car and i say to myself... EFF THIS.. i turn the car on and drive the heck out of there not looking back once... so.. that was extremely sketchy, those rest stops right along there are really sketchy to begin with. i was just so tired.. i needed to rest. but it wasnt happening.. instead, i got my heart rate up and was able to drive back no problems. .other than i was still tired.. as you can see from this post, i made it back... and rested the rest of the weekend.. but i will never forget those 10-15 minutes that night where something really bad could have happened to me, but didn't.

I had to physically call the village of Afton to get word back on my stupid guilty plea on the speeding ticket.
83 in a 65 on the highway

Alright–
Time to mail away my speeding ticket to AFTON NY (due the 23rd and 1:40 away)..
Guess I'm gonna plead Guilty and pay the fine.. We're gonna take a defensive driving course one weekend and all the points will go right off the license.
I haven't even got my NY license yet.. Still waiting on some paperwork so I can update myself.
Should be easy though.. overall.
