I’m going with the Cardinals. I did not think they could play to that magnitude 3 times in a row, and they did. So I have no reason to believe they can’t do it 4 times in a row. I think their defense is good enough, Hines Ward is iffy, and their offense is just on top of it’s game right now. Fitzgerald is a man among men. Pittsburgh’s defense is great, but I think Kurt Warner and the Card’s defense plays just good enough to beat them.

Arizona 24, Pittsburgh 17.

Plus, The thing is Pittsburgh is the safe pick. Of course they should win. They are Pittsburgh. If you pick Pittsburgh and they win, it’s like.. no surprise. But if you pick Arizona and they win, you come off sounding smart. On a sidenote, I have one square. Arizona 7, Pittsburgh 8. so maybe something like 27-18, 28-27… not impossible. but not great.

Steelers vs…?

As the Steelers finish rolling over the Broncos and advance to Super Bowl XL in Detroit, there’s lots to like with this team:

  • Jerome Bettis coming home to finish his career.
  • Troy Polamalu raising hell flying all over the field stopping everything.
  • Big Ben Roethlisberger commanding the offense like a 10 year veteran in only his second year. He’s 26-4 in his early career.
  • The class of Hines Ward.
  • The remnants of a Steel curtain defense that still exists.
  • Gadget plays involving Randel El
  • The first 6 seed to make the Super Bowl.

    • But anyway, they deserve to go. They are a good team. Now who will their opponent be?
